I was thinking of writing about it fews days ago but due to busy schedules I wasn’t able to do so but today it’s free time !
This was a pretty good way of saving our time rather then creating multiple email accounts for signup in one web or mobile portal. This is a pretty good features of Gmail.
Here, my email account is firstname.lastname@example.org and I want to signup two accounts on any web & mobile application for any reason. So, first I will register with email@example.com and after completing registration, again I will signup with the same email address ( for google ) but different for the rest of the world.
So, my email account firstname.lastname@example.org which is already registered. Now, again,
I will add dot (.) in between my email address, like :
[ And many more combination ]
These all are same account for gmail but web & mobile apps add as a new email address & singup.
All email sent for those account will hit the original inbox ( email@example.com)
This is not considered as a vulnerability or any kind of problem because google doesn’t allow you to register second email account with any dots. And I assure that it doesn’t work with Facebook. And rest of the web ? Like a charm !
So, multiple signup with single email account is possible. ( Only with Gmail) So save your time if you need a multiple account !
